The Steam Summer Sale has begun. The highly anticipated Steam Sale has started and gamers are ready to open their wallets and spend their cash on games. This year Valve has come up with a new way to keep gamers engaged and coming back to the Steam store front to check out what new games are on sale. Every person who participates in this years Summer Sale will randomly be put on one of five different colored teams. Each team earns points based from its members crafting badges and at the end of each day 30 members from each team will win three games from their wishlist. Valve has also made it very interesting where members of teams can steal points from other teams. On top of crafting badges and making points for their own team players will also earn in-game items, community items, and wallpapers.

The Steam Summer Sale runs from June 19 to June 30. So head on over to Steam and pick up a few games on the cheap.
