More good-looking Witcher 3 gameplay was shown during Microsoft’s press conference. Viewers are introduced to Geralt (our Witcher protagonist) hot on the trail of a griffin. Using his witcher powers, he is able to see the blood trail of the griffin, not only that but his power also allows players to detect sound, which will help you on your journey. While on his journey for the griffin, Geralt comes across a side quest, completely void of the current quest he was on; where he enters into combat with some bandits. It shows some gruesome gameplay where you are able to chop people in half, and use a variety of powers (such as a stun or fire breath spell) in order to finish your quests. The video ends with the player battling the griffin in a ferocious boss battle. The game is gorgeous to look at, and the combat and spell fluid mechanics is exciting to see; I can’t wait to delve into the expansive world presented and continue Geralt’s story when this game comes out.
