Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare out for PC

That’s right, the garden-themed shooter is now available for PC on Origin and other retailers worldwide. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare launched earlier this year on Xbox One and Xbox 360 to good reviews so it’s no surprised it’s finally here for PC. It will be available on PS4 and PS3 August 19th worldwide.

The PC version will contain an all-new co-op and multiplayer map called Jewel Junction. In addition, players will get the chance to play all the latest free game content including the Garden Variety Pack and Zomboss Down, a Wild West themed update with eight new playable characters, more than 200 customizations, and the Cactus Canyon Map.

For those who aren’t familiar with the game, players choose a side and go to war against the plant or zombie opponents. The weapons are outrageous with each character playing to their unique abilities and roles. The game features four gameplay modes:

  • 2-4 player co-op
  • 12 vs. 12 competitive mode called “Gardens & Graveyards” and “Team Vanish”
  • 8 vs. 8 “Gnome Bomb”

Also as an exclusive to the PC launch, players can also purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin, which contains two Booster Packs, 150,000 in-game coins, and an exclusive character customization pack.
